Process Features
Warp-knitted waffles are produced on Tricot or Raschel warp-knitting machines with multiple needle bar configurations. By controlling the yarn movement of the bars, the warp yarns form a regular raised-and-sunken grid on the fabric surface — raised areas are continuous warp loops, while sunken areas form a plain-woven base connected by weft yarns.
