All-Polyester Cationic Striped Fabric is a 100% polyester functional textile. The warp uses cationic-modified polyester yarn, and the weft uses regular polyester yarn. Through a split-dyeing process using cationic and disperse dyes, it forms clear two-tone or multi-color straight stripes. The fabric combines vibrant color, wrinkle resistance, easy care, and durability, making it suitable for home textiles, cleaning, apparel, and outdoor applications.
Material Composition
Warp yarn: Cationic-modified polyester (CDP or ECDP), containing acidic groups, reactive to cationic dyes.
Weft yarn: Standard polyester (PET), dyed with disperse dyes only.
Yarns are arranged in fixed ratios (e.g., 1:1, 2:1) and woven in plain or twill patterns to form the base fabric.
Stripe Formation Mechanism
Simultaneous split-dyeing: Both cationic and disperse dyes are added to the same dye bath.
Cationic dyes color only the cationic yarns, disperse dyes color only regular polyester yarns, producing clear, contrasting stripes.
Multi-color stripes are achieved by adjusting the arrangement and cycle of different cationic yarns in the warp.
