Warp-knitted polyester-nylon terry cloth is made from 80% polyester + 20% nylon ultrafine composite filament (commonly 150D/72F), woven on warp-knitted Tricot or Raschel machines, and finished with terry loops or cut-pile processes. Pre-shrinking and heat-setting ensure stable structure, high elasticity, excellent water absorption, and shape retention. The fabric is fluorescent-free, formaldehyde-free, safe, and environmentally friendly.
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| High Water Absorption & Quick Drying | Petal-shaped fibers increase surface area, strong capillary action; absorbs water in ≤3 seconds, up to 8–12 times its own weight; dries in ≤45 minutes in ventilated conditions. |
| Strong Stain Removal & Lint-free | Fiber diameter 0.4 μm (1/10 of silk), fine pile traps dirt effectively; warp-knitted structure is durable, resists pilling and shedding; cleans without scratching. |
| High Elasticity & Durability | Polyester provides strength, nylon adds elasticity; tensile strength ≥180N/5cm; maintains shape after ≥50 washes; 30%+ longer lifespan than pure cotton. |
| Easy to Clean & Stain Resistant | Can be washed with neutral detergent at room temperature; grease and oil detach easily; compatible with common cleaning agents such as 84 disinfectant without residue. |
| Soft & Skin-friendly | Ultrafine pile is gentle on skin and delicate surfaces; ideal for beauty care, infant cleaning, and sensitive surfaces. |
| Specification | Typical Parameters |
|---|---|
| Width | 160–180 cm, suitable for bulk cutting and production |
| GSM (Weight) | 180–320 g/m²; lightweight 180–220 g/m² for portability, heavy 250–320 g/m² for durability |
| Structure | Single-sided loops, double-sided loops, high-low pile; can be cationic dyed, printed, jacquard; colorfastness ≥3–4 |
| Roll Length/Weight | 50–100 meters per roll, 20–40 kg, suitable for industrial and commercial orders |
Raw Material Preparation: Select 150D/72F polyester-nylon composite filament; maintain warp temperature 24–26°C, humidity 60–70% for even yarn.
Warp Knitting: Tricot/Raschel machine with double/composite comb configuration; ground comb forms base, pile comb forms loops 3–5 mm high; density ≥350 loops/10 cm.
Finishing: Wash to remove impurities; dye with reactive dyes (100–130°C fixation); heat-set at 120–150°C for ≤2% shrinkage; edge-locking to prevent fraying.
Quality Inspection: Test loop height, tensile strength, colorfastness, water absorption to ensure stable structure and performance.

Home Cleaning: Wiping glass, tiles, furniture; dry dusting or wet cleaning; leaves no watermarks.
Automotive Care: Cleaning car paint, rims, and interiors; high pile removes grease, low pile polishes and protects surfaces.
Beauty & Personal Care: Hair-drying towels, facial towels; quick-dry, soft, non-irritating; suitable for sensitive skin.
Hotels & Infant Care: Bath towels, baby cleaning cloths; skin-friendly, safe, and easy to wash and manage in bulk.
Industrial Cleaning: Mechanical maintenance, oil and dust removal; cleaning delicate instruments while protecting components.

Washing: Machine wash ≤40°C; use neutral detergent; avoid bleach or strong acids; wash similar colors together.
Drying: Air dry or low-temperature tumble dry ≤80°C; avoid direct sunlight to prevent fiber aging and pile collapse.
Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated area; avoid moisture and mildew; keep away from sharp objects to protect the pile structure.
Do Not: Iron >110°C even with cloth; avoid long-time soaking in strong acid/alkali solutions to prevent damage.
